# How to generate a Card ID

> Learn how to generate a Card ID for use with Zapier automation workflows.

## Step 1: Create your Card

Click on the **create workflow** button.

## Step 2: Generate Zapier ID

Now click on the **generate Zapier ID**. Copy this ID and paste it into Zapier.
